Mollie in April and May 2018

Hey Baby,

2018 is flying by, and I don't want to miss it.  I keep thinking if I get caught up that I will keep up... and then I don't.  Ha!  So... I want to catch your letters up to end of May, and then try to keep up going forward.

APRIL 2018

On our way home from TX!

Another gift from a dear friend... Calico Critters for your Birthday!

First Sunday Brunch coupled with an Easter Egg Hunt!

Another tooth lost!

Ms. Gina sent these to me.  You like to do this so it all gets out and people have to rush to you with a wipe.  You are weird... and I love you.

Garden in Back - flowers in front.

A pic after I got back.  Aunt Jenny and Uncle Aaron took you to Six Flags when you were with them!

School pics... super cute!

OUR EVENING AT WICKED!

You are so full of personality and life... I love to watch you work a room.  You captivated and made friends with the group of elderly women sitting next to us... also on their way to Wicked, but you didn't know where we were going and you didn't want to know, so you talked to them about Wizard of Oz and how much you loved it.  You asked their names, what they did, if they had kids, and complimented them on their attire for the evening.  You left them all smiling.  That's good on you, kid.

Our evening with Shaunee-Girl.  You guys played, did S'mores, Camped out in the tent and then we went to Emma's birthday party at Chuck-e-Cheese!

Happy 6th Birthday, Emma!

Trying on costumes for Wizard of Oz.  After they decided on this costume for you, we found out you were being promoted to Lullaby League and you were wearing a pink lullaby league costume.  Super cute and lots of fun has been had by you and your brother with this costume.

Reading books together!

Look at your beautiful handstand and pointed toes!

Getting your pics taken by Nora Canfield for your FIRST head shots!

First Head Shots!

Zoo Trip with the Miller's

Seeing a Nashville in Harmony Concert.  This concert is LGBTQ and friends and allies of the LGBTQ community.  It was a great concert, but you were exhausted.  We lasted three songs past intermission, but we got to see our friend Amber Stanton's solo!

You and your brother playing together, getting into mommy's makeup and enjoying the sunshine.

backflip by Mollie!

MAY 2018

Trying to get in the pool - it is still kind of cool, but you do NOT care.

We love doing these snapchat filters

Yes please... totally adorable.

I think I noted on Maxon's letter that it was too cold and that is why we did this instead.  I remembered that the pool was green because the generator broke.  So... this was our only choice.

Will's 6th Birthday Party!

Fun time in the pool with big sis Paigey!

Bedtime reading with Paigey!

Mother's Day - such a perfect day!

Hanging out at the house!

Mother's Day Foot Washing.  You always get so excited about it, and I LOVE it, but it is so DANG HOT!

First time doing munchkin hair that we later discovered was under a hat anyways.  You in makeup - you look gorgeous, but too old.

Dress Rehearsals for Wizard of Oz - your VERY FIRST SHOW!

FIELD DAY AT MJMA! 2018 - a magician, a dunk tank, a water slide, snow cones, games, bubbles, face painting, popcorn, pizza, slip-n-slides - FUN GALORE!  Mommy is secretary of the PTA and I was a part of planning this day with a bunch of amazing mommies!  It was so fantastic!

More rehearsal!

I bought you this outfit for your day of the show, y'all to wear to school.  You were exhausted after the previous two weeks, and while you did love the outfit - you were over pictures and just wanted to stay home.  I ended up letting you stay at home on Friday of the show, because you were beyond exhausted.  You were handling life well, but I wanted you to enjoy your first show... and you totally did!

SHOW #1 - FRIDAY NIGHT, MAY 18TH

SHOW #2 - SATURDAY AFTERNOON - MAY 19TH!

CAST PARTY!  BETWEEN SHOWS #2 AND #3

SHOW #3 - SATURDAY EVENING, MAY 19TH

SHOWS #4 - SUNDAY, MAY 20TH at Charlie Daniels Park - Dorothy decided she didn't feel good, so this cast that had worked so hard, had to do it with a stand-in Dorothy.  Everyone did amazingly well, and that is LIVE THEATRE!  I was so proud of you guys, but MAN was in hot - like 100 degrees and no shade cover!

You were EXHAUSTED!

WE HAD AN EVENTFUL MAY - WHAT FOLLOWS IS YOUR BRIDGING CEREMONY FROM KINDERGARTEN TO FIRST GRADE.  This is where your Elementary classmates receive you into the first grade by walking you across the bridge.  You didn't graduate like traditional schools, but bridged, because you cross from one plane to another plane.  You are now in the 6-12 plane and we are so excited to see you grow and learn.  Here are your friends that bridged with you.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2018

You were SO PROUD of bridging.  I didn't cry... yes, yes I did cry.

Aunt Jess came to support - SO SO SO SO HOT outside

You BRIDGED!

You want to be a Mommy when you grow up!  My heart exploded!

Now silliness!

you made this for me before you left on your trip to Grammies!

All packed up and ready to head to Grammie's for the week!

A soccer Game in Detroit before Heading to Grammie's!

Well... I don't have any pics from Grammie's, because that was your special time with her.  Usually she grabs photos from everything you did.  I hope to get those and add them here!  She made you a book last year.  What a precious time that I hope you will always remember OR the pictures and captions can help you remember!  I love you so much.  You are kind, loving, caring, empathetic, always thinking of others, willing to try new things, focused when you want to be, fun the rest of the time, and all around an amazing soul.

I love you so...

Mommy
